El Centro Del Pueblo Consortium
Los Angeles Bridges Program at Virgil Middle School

El Centro Del Pueblo is the Lead-Agency in collaboration with several community-based organizations that is funded by the City of Los Angeles, Community Development Department. Our Los Angeles Bridges Program is located at Virgil Middle School in the Family Resource Center. Our program is designed to provide an anti-gang/high risk intervention program by serving the youth and families with prevention and intervention services.

The mission of the Los Angeles Bridges Program at Virgil Middle School is to empower, strengthen, and educate the Virgil community by involving all stake holders to increase safety, community action, and solidarity in unity through diversity. Our Los Angeles Bridges Program is able to serve the Virgil Middle School surrounding areas by expanding the services into the multiethnic community. All services are no cost to the youth and families in the community. Services are provided in multiple languages: Spanish, English, and Pilipino/Tagalong.
